OOPS 1
pouring the concrete photo
A Problem: A form burst on the outside wall. Concrete was pouring out into the hole. With a great deal of effort, the men shored up the form and resumed pouring the concrete. Unfortunately, when the foundation was dry and the forms were removed, a slight bow could be seen on the interior basement wall. Not so good for hanging art or cabinets. I brought this to Tom's (our builder) attention and he said there were several solutions to this problem. We agreed upon his framing out the interior wall for drywall (not originally to be done) to compensate for the problem. We were satisfied.
