WOOD FOR TRIM
(photo taken 12/23/02)
First delivery of unfinished wood for trim. Photograph.
In order to decrease the cost of this project by over $1,800.00 we decided to stain and finish the trim ourselves. Thankfully, we were given the option of doing this before it was assembled and attached to the walls. As you can see our space was limited.

At the same time we had to prime and paint the walls. Chris painted and I stained and finished the trim. Chris would paint before and sometimes after work and I would stain and finish while he was at work.

I used the new living room to stain and the new front bedroom to polyurathane. This worked fine for the 8' and 10' sections of wood but, the 12' and 16' sections of wood had to be stained and polyurathaned in the new living room.
