This is the newest addition to my Portraits of the Mind series. This piece started out several years ago as an 11" X 14" digital print titled "Dancing for the Ladies." It was primarily a slightly different version of just the center section of "Hollywood Expose." In the advent of my new found love for taking all my work into the third dimension through image laden shadowbox type frames, the idea grew and evolved into the image you see above. The title "Hollywood Expose" says it all. This work is a comment on tabloid-type coverage on our Hollywood royalty.

The images are original digital prints with Prismacolor pencils and/or acrylic paint on acid free fine art papers. They are arranged in several quarter inch layers in a 1 1/2" deep shadowbox, protected by a sheet of Plexiglas. The shadow box is designed and built by the artist using Solid Aspen and Clear Pine. The work is finished with several coats of various varnishes and a UV-Resistant spray. Each work is created and signed by me, the artist.
