"SAINT OPRAH" MIXED MEDIA CONSTRUCTION SIZE: 29 1/2" High X 25" Wide X 2 1/4" Deep PRICE: $850.00 I created this mixed media construction version of "Saint Oprah" as a way to create excellent original art available to a wider range of collectors. Another dimension has been added to the work by continuing the images onto the front of the handmade shadowbox. The images -- original digital prints with Prismacolor pencil -- are printed on acid free fine art papers and arranged in several quarter inch layers in a 2 1/4" deep shadowbox, protected by a sheet of Plexiglas. The shadow box is designed and built by the artist using Solid Aspen and Clear Pine. The work is finished with several coats of various varnishes and a UV-Resistant spray.
